Week 105: Long Weeks and Service!

Hey everyone, this was a week to be sure. A long one at that. I'll make it quick.

Here's a run through of the week:
Monday we worked on filming a district video and that was about it. We enjoyed P day so it was hype.
Tuesday we did a bunch of service for the Santillans and the Harkes. At the end of the night we did a whole bunch of contacting with little success, so that was a rip.
Wednesday we had district council in the morning which is always hype. After that we had a bunch of lessons that all went really good.
Thursday we did service in the morning taming a wild jungle in some ladies back yard. After that we went to the food bank and did some service there which is always lit. After that we had a lesson with our elders quorum president named Nye Nelson. So you could say I had a lesson with President Nelson.
Friday we had a couple lessons throughout the day that kept us busy. We did some weekly planning and I barely survived through that. We also had a super cool miracle while finding, but I'll talk about that in a little bit.
Saturday we did more service with the Harkes and it was a lot of demo. After that we did some contacting, lessons, and studying. At the end of the night we had a couple interesting lessons with some people we're teaching.
Sunday we had church in the morning which was good. After that we had a couple lessons with some non members which went pretty good. We ended off the night with some of the Spanish Elders before Elder Sorenson left for Ecuador.
Monday was a sad day. Elder Sorenson left for his original assignment so Elder Bird came with us in a trio. We had a couple really good lessons that night and just were a bunch of sad boys.
Tuesday we did more service for the Harkes and tore down a wall so that was hype. Other than that just more lessons.

Miracle of the week:
When we went finding we knocked on some random door and shared a scripture with the lady that answered. She immediately started crying and asked if God was real. We talked with her for a minute and testified that God is real. She seemed a lot happier and invited us back. We are teaching her now so it is awesome!

Funny moment of the week:
I ate 3 blazing wings at Buffalo Wild Wings and boy were they spicy. I was maybe crying a little while eating them. Hopefully I can get a video out soon about this.

Love,
Elder Bohn

Final Thoughts!

I love this gospel! I am so grateful for the honor and privilege it was to labor in the vineyard of the Lord. I know Christ lives, and I kno...
